Diagonalisation a tridiagonal symnmnetric matrix

Guys..I need some help...Doea anyone know of a way to diagonalise a tridiagonal Symmetric matrix OR obtain the exponential of the matrix?

N.B: My matrix is 6x6 and has three variables in it...I have tried on Mathematica (finding eigenvalues & MatrixExp command )but in vain...Can anyone help me please..Thanks...
