Looking for real analysis, abstract algebra, etc. study partner

Hi,

I'm looking for a study partner who's interested in making daily, scheduled contact using Skype for voice and Teamviewer for screen sharing.

I'm interested in working through textbooks with a person in a methodical way.

I'm working at the advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate level. The subjects I'm interested in studying are real analysis, complex analysis, abstract algebra, combinatorics, and number theory. I have a set of textbooks I want to work through, but I'm flexible.

I can learn math on my own for the most part, but I need someone to feed off of. I study math for the fun of it, although I plan on going to graduate school in several years. Right now, I'm working so I won't be at the mercy of having to be a TA.

I've decided that trying to talk much math without using real time voice and visuals is an exercise in frustration, and so I want to use a Skype/Teamviewer type solution. With screen sharing, you would be able to log into my computer and see my books and other math documents. I also use Microsoft OneNote along with a Wacom pen tablet for writing math.

Okay, since I'm telling what I'd like, it seems to me that the perfect solution would be where we were connected online with TeamViewer for several hours. Whoever had a question would set everything up to be viewed on their computer screen and then call the other person, who would then be able to quickly view the page of a book, etc. after the question was presented. Given two capable people, there's no need to talk for extended periods of time all the time. Over a period of two hours, we might only make contact several times, although maybe more.

But you might have different ideas, and, like I said, I'm flexible.

I'm home at 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CST, and 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM, which would be when we could connect.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, please email me at "sets" and then "at" and then "gmx" and "com".
