I would like to make a
lens for a horn. I know that the lens curve is a hyperbola. The diameter of the horn (conical aperature) is 1.5 inches and I would like the plane (flat side) of the lens to be flush with the horn aperature. The asymptotes of the hyperbola are at 41.7 degrees. Knowing this information is it possible to find the equation of the hyperbola. I am having a bit of trouble (a little rusty)?
