Modified Associated Legendre Polynomial Nodes

Hello,

I am currently using modified Associated Legendre polynomials to solve differential equations. Essentially, I am expanding functions as LaTeX Code: A = \\Sigma A_{n} \\sin (\\theta) P_{n}^{1} ( \\cos (\\theta) ) . My question is whether or not I should be using the standard Gauss-Legendre nodes, or should I be using different grid points?

Thanks,

Vortexman
