A year from now marks 100 years since Albert Einstein wrote his paper on electrodynamics of moving bodies and sent it to Annalen der Physik. I assume there will be some hoopla about it next year, including conferences, more books and magazine articles, and lots of debates.

But I haven't heard any news of planning celebrations yet.

Thanks! remember: E=mc2!

"The World Year of Physics (WYP 2005) is a worldwide celebration of physics and its importance in our everyday lives. Physics not only plays an important role in the development of science and technology but also has a tremendous impact on our society. WYP aims to raise the worldwide awareness of physics and physical science."

It is certainly possible that 2025 may be a big celebration for physics, especially in light of the significance of Albert Einstein's paper on electrodynamics of moving bodies. However, it is difficult to predict with certainty if there will be a large-scale celebration in the field of physics, as it ultimately depends on the efforts and interests of the scientific community. It is possible that there may be conferences, books, and articles dedicated to commemorating this milestone, but it is also possible that it may not receive as much attention as other scientific advancements. Regardless, the impact of Einstein's work cannot be denied and it is important to continue to recognize and honor his contributions to the field of physics. And of course, let us not forget the famous equation E=mc2, which has become synonymous with his name and serves as a reminder of the incredible discoveries made in the world of physics.
