What type of career can I expect?

I am 22 years old, and I am about to begin studying Environmental Engineering at Dalhousie University.

I have some previous academic work; I have graduated from an Electronics Engineering program from a local college, and I have also graduated with honours from another college in a different city where I studied Industrial Automation. However, I only took these programs because I was "guided" in the "right" direction by my dad; I have never had, nor probably ever will have a passion for electronics.

With that being said, I am much more interested in Chemistry and the environment; therefore, after I get my bachelors in environmental engineering, what sort of career can I expect?

I have no idea. I just know environmental engineering is the fastest growing engineering profession for the next 10 years.
