Is it possible to coat nanoparticles with a layer of metal by chemical electroplating

the nanoparticle is WC with a diameter less than 100nm, the metal layer is pure Cobalt and it should be less than 10nm thick, it is easy to make a layer of Co on micrometer scale particles, but I am not sure whether this is feasible on nanometer scale. if anybody thinks that it is impossible and knows other methods to make that coating please tell me also.

any help will be appreciated.

Thank you very much!
