I finally managed to know what she wants: a t-shirt and a coffee mug. Both are not that fancy as I imagined.

She is coming to visit me and I was having trouble finding a gift for her. Lisab suggested talking to my mom but I didn't feel like letting my parents know about it. They would probably continue talking about it for next few months or even years .... Now, I would have to find how to get them something next when I go home without getting attention or their cheesiness.)

Some website suggested that Whale song is a funny novel. It was wonderful in the beginning until the girl gets bullied in her school for being white and later her mom goes on death bed. Now as I read I can feel teary eyes

I bought a slip cover for my couch. Even though my couch is 2" smaller than the range on the package I thought, meh, close enough. It's on sale!

Now...my couch looks like a Shar Pei.
