I wonder what will happen to the Euro if Greece beats Germany?

Hm, the Polish team really gave it away in the second half, IMO. Shame.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

{see if that works.}

"The sub-specialty of Hand and Microsurgery emerged only during the last twenty to thirty years, and is highly dependent on modern technology. Major advances have been made in this field over the past two decades and the Tampa Bay Hand Center is now able to correct many of the problems related to this delicate and complex instrument - the human hand."

(I only know because I jog past this place every day)
Not exactly the hand equivalent of a podiatrist, but close enough, I suppose.

I made an amazing discovery a while back. When you buy a package of chicken wings that are all packed in tight, the wings are either all lefts or all rights.
Wow. There are so many facts about chickens that have been staring me right in the face that I've never picked up on.

Not that I wish the Polish team to loose, but I like the grumpy face.

Yeah, I know you probably meant that. But it just popped into my head because I see that place every day.

What would it be if it had a name? Mandologist?

Anyone here seen Lost in Translation? If yes, thoughts? I remember seeing it when I was younger - probably because of Scar Jo's behind on the opening scene (I jest) - and then being quite pleasantly surprised with the rest. I never finished watching the whole of it. I was also a big Garden State nut. About a year ago, I had also seen that other Coppola film, Somewhere, and I found it somewhat lacking. It was nice but it seemed somewhat hollow but perhaps this was the desired effect?

I have recently seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off again and while I enjoyed it, there were a few things about I didn't like. One being that "do what you want and you may well get out of it without too many bruises", how he treats his "best friend", and I'm not certain I understood the last scene, where the sister doesn't blow his cover. Is it because she has no reason to hate him now that she found somebody (I was surprised to see Charlie Sheen with a somewhat average-sized face) that likes her...for no apparent reason? Anyone, those things didn't seem to bother that much. Now that I've written it all out, it doesn't look like that much of a big deal but when as I was watching the movie, at some point, things stopped feeling right.

This has caused me to wonder whether I will be able to enjoy those films if I watch them again.

On another note, has anyone seen "Never Let Me Go"? Opinions on it?

Another thing I'm working on right now is "speed reading". I don't know when it happened but I don't seem to be able to read as fast as I could before. I seem to be taking a little over a minute to read a page. (in a regular paperback)

Is her name equivalent to the English word "mirth"? That would be cute...
With mirth I can announce that she is finally released from hospital, vitals are perfect and the blood values are back to normal.

Interesting that Myrthe (somebody sneaked in the L in english) appears to have a relation with mirth:

In the Mediterranean, myrtle was symbolic of love and immortality
The Dutch given name encyclopedia lists as advantage of the name, that you're probably never going to meet somebody with the same name.

Okay another picture then. Is this kid really two days old?

They played perfect first 20 minutes, then stopped as if they had already won. It never works.

I liked it. A gentle and thoughtful film.

Another gentle and thoughtful film which I like very much is "Before Sunrise" (and the sequel "Before Sunset").

I honestly thought that she's one week old when you post her first pic. She's cute! :)

Btw, I love the lime color [and pale yellow color] for baby's clothing, so nice.
