It will be the doom of us all.
And "relationships", and "career guidance"........

It's like diving into the Philosophy forum, only to find the pool is empty.

There could be a warning pop up box saying going to PWA might upset your stomach
Perhaps we should bring this up in Forum Feedback.

My favorite Sci-fi author (when I was younger anyway) Harry Harrison, died to day at age 87. Goodbye stainless steel rat!

Just made a cup of coffee, added creamer, added sugar...took a gulp, spit it out. I use ceramic containers of salt and sugar for ease of use in cooking. I was deep in thought and had grabbed the salt container in error.

Eww, I done that recently with a crepe I'd made for my breakfast.

Although the funniest one was on a TV baking contest, one of the contestants was making a baba au rhum and he accidentally put sugar and butter into the mold instead of butter and sugar. And to top it all off it was Paul Hollywood's recipe and Paul was one of the judges.

For the last three weeks it was a running joke between Marzena and me - we have identical plastic containers for salt and sugar that we use while camping, so each time we were cooking we were asking "Have you checked if it is a salt/sugar?"

I made a pot of coffee one day, back in 1978. I filled the pot from the fresh water spout, and made coffee.

Everyone spat it out.

The salt water to fresh water conversion system had apparently become overloaded during the night, and the fresh water system was pure seawater! (USS Saratoga) Twas not my fault. But I checked the faucet for "flavor" after that. Live and learn.

Is it true that not all the American know what a side-stand of a motorcycle is ? (no offense by any sort of "attitude", just out of my curiosity: next to me seats a Vietnamese American and he doesn't know it-I doubt it's a fake Chinese American )

I meant he didn't know how to word it: he explained it as the "wire, the metal at the bottom of the bike", so I doubt
and sometimes the language is used incorrectly (grammar)
If I understand what a "side-stand" is, I think we call it a "kick stand" here. I've never heard the term side-stand .

I was having trouble drawing tonight so I thought I'd reach through time and tap into da Vinci's mind for advice. That was easy enough, but everything he said was in Italian.

But did it help?
