Sigh. Two days of work to find out I was using Document.Database.Add(object) instead of Document.Add(object) (which calls Database.Add(object), but not before modifying the object).
I know that it happens but, I always feel like I've wasted the customer's money whenever I have a snipe hunt like that.

Aww, that's sweet Andre.

And I think any mother+baby pic is photogenic, but we can never neglect grandpa's keen eyes.

In a way I am my own customer, so if I waste anything it is my own time and money. Which doesn't mean I like it .

Quick quetion not worth starting a thread for:

When someone throws out a figure for the "weight" of the earth, they are guestimating how much it would weigh relative to another earth sized mass, correct?

I estimate my chances at about 1%.

Or rather, from what I read, others estimated my chances at this level.

Well, yeah, It's kind of inappropriate to ask "what is the weight of the earth?" It should really be "What is the mass of the earth?"

Yeah, because I weighed the earth a couple days ago and got a value of 148 lbs.

Maybe you just need to recalibrate your scale.

Why?

When I weight the Earth I get about 59 kg.

Actually I always wonder if it matters how the scale is placed. Trick is, when it is placed in such a way Earth can read its weight, I can't see it, so I can't be sure about the result.

You must have your thumb on the scale. When I weighed it I got 4 lbs.

And there is also the "atomic weight," which is again really a sort of measurement of mass, but is called weight anyway. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_weight.) It's all pretty messed up if you ask me.
