lauching a ball to find speed


long jump shot is released 1.7 m above the ground, 6.03 m from the base of the basket, which is 3.05 m high. For launch angles of 30° and 60°, find the speed needed to make the basket.

okay i tried using speed=meters/seconds
but it didn't work.

so i plugged in into an equation
like v=1/2gt^2
