compactly supported thin plate splines ??
hi,
i'm using thin plate splines order 2 in my algorithm (K = r^4 log r) but i'd like to do multiresolution. the problem is that TPS have infinite support .. i know i could use compactly supported functions such as wendland's but i need to keep the regularization properties of the tps .. in other way, can i make TPS become compactly supported? thanx very much by advance ! |
