Capacitor discharge waveform.

In the ceramic capacitors, the voltages falls down from the applied voltage whe the electrical discharge happens. Sometimes, the voltage drops under zero voltage. The electrical energy can be calculated by multiplying the voltage, the current and the time. If the voltage drops under zero during electrical discharge, how can I calculate the discharging energy from the voltage and the current waveform? I want to know whether it is possible or not.
