Hole Carrier density quantum well

Hi. I am trying to calculate the hole carrier density in a quantum well. The expression I have is as follows

Pqw=[tex]\sum\int\rho(k)[1-fv(Evn(k),Efv)]dk[/tex]

I'm not sure how to integrate over k space. Can someone give some pointers?
