Supersonic flame
Does anyone know if this exist?.
I mean, imagine a fuel injector with a supersonic coaxial flow around. The injector feeds with a supersonic stream of fuel too. Surely, there would be an interface between the coaxial air and the fuel, where chemical reaction takes place. What would we see?. It would be similar to a subsonic flame? |
