A question on axiomatization of geometry

Hello !
Does anyone have an idea if it is possible to prove Dedekind's continuity axiom from the list of Hilbert's axioms, as given in his book Grundlagen der Geometrie ? Especially what is the role of the last completeness axiom in his list ?
