Is there any merit to this? It seems like a commercial for "GS Filters" to me, but I've always considered the CBC fairly reputable.

I can't read the link.

Dirty power is an issue in industry (THD), as a function of the use of pulse-width and pulse-frequency modulation, in inverters, motor controllers, lighting systems, and other industrial systems.

The same technology is used in computers, TVs, and some home lighting systems...
