friction and sliding

Hello,

I am designing some sliding mechanism and I have a question about sliding friction.
In picture you can see my case.

Yellow part is sliding forwards and backwards about 10-15mm and it moves small connector (not displayed in attached picture). Material for yellow(2mm sheet metal) and grey (bar D=4mm) part is - stainless steel (AISI 304).

Have anyone experience or thoughts how long this part would handle in tolerances +/- 0.5 mm

It needs to handle at least 5000 moves.

Thanks,
