question about Capillary action
if i put one pipe in atank of some liquid and fill it up, the height of the liquid will be different in the pipe and atank (10cm)(see picture below please)
if i punch the pipe in height 5cm from liquid surface what will happen? does liquid follow out or not? how his heght in pipe will be change? Please response with physical reasons. Thanks a lot.
