Gyroscope
Hello guys,
For a homework assignment I have to demonstrate all three of newtons laws. Because I really like physics I made a simple gyroscope out of my bicycle wheel. Now the first two laws are alright to relate to, but I have had trouble explaining the third one on hand of the gyroscope. Before I did research I thought that wheel has momentum in one direction and therefor turns in another. But then I looked it up and I got confused by things like torque. Can anyone explain this a bit closer and give me an example of newtons third law on hand of the gyroscope I made. Thanks in advance. |
