Math Stats in Stats vs Math dept

What is the difference in taking Math Stats from the Statistics department versus the Math department if they are separate at a school? I see many schools where this occurs, especially when the stats dept is in the business school. Any opinions on what differences one would learn, I would assume it best to take it in the Math department.
