Differences between live tank and dead tank circuit breakers
Hi,
I'm currently working on a High voltage equipment report and I'd like to know the differences between live tank and dead tank circuit breakers. As far as I'm concerned the enclosure of live tank CB windings is at line potencial, whereas he enclosure of a dead tank CB is grounded. But are there any other differences? What are the advantages and disanvantages of each type? Thank you in advance! |
