Marzena's image -- as always -- is stunning and absolutely on-subject. Wonderful.

All of the entries are intriguing and evocative.

I especially fell for khemist's, though, because I've frequently enjoyed the quiet of standing in that image. I can almost smell the lush greenery in that picture.

Depends on your entry. I didn't think that photographing a ~2 foot snow-storm would evoke anything but quiet. Wrong! (apparently) There are some fantastic images in this contest. Perhaps I am not that good at choosing images that match up with the contest criteria. That's OK, I will proudly take last place with my 0 votes.
