DFT of large data sets
Hi,
I've been loking for a matlab (script/algorithm) for Discrete Fourier Ttransform of a large data file which doesn't fit into the memory. Has anyone attempted to do an FFT on segments read from a large file and reconstructing the Fourier spectrum out of these? I am aware of the overlap-save and overlap-add methods for convolution of large data set with a response function, but not of an FFT of large data set alone. Any suggestions will be most welcome! Many thanks! Gaby_phys |
