Mechanical engineering to structural/civil


Hello,
I completed my engineering in Mechanical stream ... Now i am

getting a opportunity to enter in the field of civil/structure work of bridge ... and i am having interest in it...


i can understand drawing and having good command on AutoCAD...

Please guide me ...
am i need some extra knowledge ???
And is there any certification course available for a mechanical engineer for structural engineering (distance learning too)????
