Well that explains all the expressions and comments on the symmetry of woman.
Who hasn't said or heard "She looks pretty symmetric today - she's hot."

35+ years ago I had an incident that knocked one of my teeth askew and eventually killed two of my front teeth. They were removed last fall. The little bit of asymmetry prior to the removal was barely noticeable. Now failing to bother with the falsies gives me a perfectly symmetric but gap-toothed smile. Definitely not sexy.

Look at someone who's attractive. Take note. Is their nose off to one side? Is one eye droopey? Do they have a bad case of snaggle tooth?

Probably not.

Obviously someone missing both eyes with symmetrical sockets would be an exception, but don't be silly.
