Biomass Combustion - Calculate NCV
Hi,
Need some advice. We´re implementing a new Boiler System in our Plant. I´m trying to calculate the Net Calorific Value of Biomass with 40% humidity using only the following info: 1) NCV of the biomass at 35% humidity = 3.21 kWh/kg 2) Combustion load = 2,470 kg/h 3) A greater amount of water contained causes a lower NCV and therefore lower production of steam, which means that if the Humidity increases, the NCV decreases. (So the answer should be below 3.21) Thanks, D |
