Peristaltic pump as control valve?

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if the possible use of a peristaltic pump as a precise control pump for hydraulic actuators. Is this an efficient approach? I hope to use a pressurized input and the pump to control the flow of said input inside a hydraulic actuator.

Thanks for your time,

Elemeno
