had the habit of deriving special relativity, in his lectures and
in his writings, from the principle

"All speeds of matter and energy are smaller or equal to c"

(Most modern texts use as principle
"c is the same for all observers" )

I read this in a text written by him many years ago, but do not have
the reference any more. Does anybody have an idea where I could
find the reference?
Thank you for any help!

Christoph Schiller
