Efficiency of Fins: which one is more efficient?
Option 1: a circular cross-section pin fin with a radius of 1 mm
Option 2: a circular cross-section pin fin with a radius of 2 mm Which is more efficient? Why? Both fins have the same length, experience the same convective heat transfer coefficient, and have an insulated tip. |
