Oracle dos /windows

Hi, I hope someone can help me solve this problem:

I have worked for some 20 years with Oracle6 and I have thousands of exports .DMP (dos ) which I used without problems with Windows 3.1 and WordPerfect3, now
I tried to transfer those files to my laptop (Windows7) but it cannot read them.
Can you tell me if there is a way to revive those files?

P.S. : I have
- an old Pentium3 with Windows Millenium and
- Oracle Developer2000 I never installed,
can this be of any help?
