A/C, D/C and digital circuits

What book would you recommend someone with the basic knowledge of circuits?

I've taken first two years of physics so I know about AC DC and digital circuits and I want to start building some circuits on my own like clocks or LED cubes but I need a book for references just in case I wan to go back and review some things.

I don't have any of my books so a book with a lot of explanation.
