Please help me about some definition related with antenna

Hi all, I'm newbie to this field.
When reading this book "Antenna Theory - Analysis and design", I found this term "Infinite length line source" and feel difficult to understand. What means infinite length and what is line source? (may be problem comes from language).
Please help me guys. Thanks
