Proton Beam Therapy
Does anyone here know much about proton beam therapy? I know its used to kill cancerous tumors by killing the cancerous tissue with energetic protons. What happens to that tissue after its killed? Does the body remove it naturally? Does it become scar tissue? Can internal scar tissue be removed by proton beam therapy?
