Bland title, yes, but anyway...

Because this is a science based forum, I'd like to know from those with extensive experience within their fields of their past beliefs, assumptions, or opinions of science and upon working in their respective careers how their beliefs changed, or whether they even changed. How were you in graduate school and whether you ever felt like you were on the wrong path? In short, how were you as a young individual pursuing a degree and working in one of the STEM fields, and how are you now that you've gained more experience?

Also, what was one of the most memorable research projects you've worked on, etc...? Your stories will be greatly appreciated!
