Book/Video Tutorial

Ok guys,I need some cool book which explains solving for differential equations.
I have M.Boas mathematical methods for the physical sciences and honestly,at least the edition sold in my country-is really quite a let down.It dosn't explain much in detail,its just states some fancy rules.
I bought that book to check out Linear Algebra and frankly found the khanacademy LA course to be much much more explanatory.Crap,I feel bad now about spending money on that book :(
