Does telescope aperture size have any effect on the resolution of a spectrometer?

I believe that the Airy Disc can be thought of as the 'slit' in this case. Yes, the slit width or the physical dimensions of the Airy Disc affect resolution. It seems to me the f-number should also be a factor.

A spectrometer is sensitive to band width. Band width and aperature are definitely connected.
