SUMMARY

This discussion focuses on the implementation of Hadamard regularization in hypersingular boundary integral equations, specifically using the traction (dual) boundary element method. Key references include works by Blanchet, Mantic, Bureau, and Guiggani, which provide foundational insights into the numerical evaluation of Hadamard integrals. The discussion emphasizes the importance of thorough research and material collection for effective implementation of the regularization method.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of hypersingular boundary integral equations
  • Familiarity with the traction (dual) boundary element method
  • Knowledge of Hadamard integrals and their numerical evaluation
  • Experience with academic research and literature review
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the application of Hadamard regularization techniques in boundary element methods
  • Study the numerical evaluation methods for Hadamard integrals
  • Explore the works of Blanchet, Mantic, Bureau, and Guiggani for advanced insights
  • Investigate additional online resources and articles on boundary integral equations
USEFUL FOR

I'm working with a hypersingular boundary integral equation and its numerical implementation (the traction (dual) boundary element method equation). This involves numerical evaluation of a Hadamard integral and I'm collecting whatever material I can find about the regularization method itself, since I'll be writing the implementation got to cover all possible bases (so far I'm going by a couple of papers by Blanchet, Mantic, Bureau, Guiggani). Any suggestions on good articles / online sources I should look at ?
