Drought in Central US, potential for dust storms

About 80 years ago, the central US experienced a severe drought which resulted in severe dust storms.

This is something to watch for during the next few years or perhaps decade, as it could affect US food supply. There has been an ongoing concern regarding the Oglala aquifer, which is one of the main supplies of water in the region.
