Its been a long time since Ive been in school, so I thought Id ask for some help!

I have a thick walled pressure vessel, that I need to instrument to (with strain gauges) to be able to tell me the external axial load applied, the issue is the internal pressure is constantly changing, and as well, the temperature is constantly changing. Does anyone here have any knowledge they could pass along?

Thanks in advance!
