I recently picked up a copy of "Nanosystems" by Drexler.

Are there any companies or schools currently doing research on diamondoid nanomachines? Google hasn't revealed much so far.

"Nanosystems" came out in 1992. What book should I pick up next for more recent developments in this field?

You mentioned having used Google to find information. Why limit yourself to this one search engine? I used “Dogpile” and the search terms “diamondoid nanomachines” and found these, including your book, plus more current information:

http://www.diamondoid.org/ Looks like an excerpt from http://www.timecube.com/ :S

I did find:

But any other material would be great!
