This crystal was left over after the water in a tabletop foundation evaporated. The fountain is a collection of rocks glued together that the water tumbles over.

The crystals are off-white, slightly straw-colured. The image is about 2X actual size.

Any idea what the mineral may be?

Looks like there may be enough there to do a rough qualitative analysis...if you have access to reagents. Or, would you happen to have an x-ray diffractometer handy ?
