There is such subclass of capacitors with name ''pseudocapacitors'' which seem to use ''fast faradaic reactions''. This type offers very high capacitance up to 7514 F/g, but relatively low voltage. http://www.nature.com/srep/2013/1310...srep02986.html
What is faradaic reactions and could they have higher voltage?
