Home-made RC Hovercraft

My name is Ezequiel, and I'm a student of first year of Electronic Engineering in Argentina.
A long time ago, I made a box with a fan that "wanted to be" an hovercraft. But now I want to do it in a more professional way. I would like to use DC motors and make something small.
Does anybody made a little hovercharf? or even now some math and physics issues (formulas for calculating the input and output air flow so the hovercraft can works ok) so I can design it?
