Adding lognormal distributions
Does anybody know of a compact, analytical method for adding lognormal distributions?
When I tried to add the arithmetic means and arithmetic variances, the results did not match the Monte Carlo simulation. It was enough of a difference that it was not just due to Monte Carlo "noise". Any help is certainly appreciated! |
