The mini-workshop "Cosmic Strings and Fundamental Strings"
will take place at Institut Henri Poincare, from Sep 22 to 27, 2005

The goal of this mini-workshop is to bring together string theorists and
cosmologists, and discuss recent developments on the subject of cosmic
strings, whether they originate from grand-unified phase transitions or
from a fundamental description of interactions.

The schedule will be light, consisting of two pedagogical lectures in the
morning and a couple of seminars per day.
