SUMMARY

David Waite has claimed to provide an exact solution for infinitely long straight cosmic strings, addressing the limitations of previous weak field solutions. The discussion references a specific problem, Problem 11.1.7, from Waite's work, which is considered a more general solution. The original inquiry was based on a web page detailing the weak field solution for cosmic strings, highlighting the need for a terminating force in the theoretical framework.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of cosmic strings in theoretical physics
  • Familiarity with weak field solutions in general relativity
  • Knowledge of terminating forces in physical theories
  • Basic grasp of mathematical problem-solving in physics
NEXT STEPS
  • Research David Waite's Problem 11.1.7 for insights on cosmic string solutions
  • Study the implications of terminating forces in theoretical physics
  • Explore the concept of weak field solutions in general relativity
  • Investigate the role of cosmic strings in the context of the universe's structure
USEFUL FOR

Theoretical physicists, cosmologists, and researchers interested in advanced concepts of cosmic strings and their implications in the universe.

A while back I created a web page to describe an infinetly long straight cosmic string.

http://www.geocities.com/physics_world/cosmic_string.htm

Does anyone know if an exact solution for such a string has been fount. The result in that page is based on a paper which seems to have been only a weak field solution.

Threads and theoretics.

One requires a point of termination or terminating force obviously the residual of a terminating force will provide theoretical threads.

Hairs on a plant are consistent with the terminating force of its existence.

Force is evidently descending forming and terminating with infinite potentials and there are the theoretics of formation. Naturally the human nervous system and lymph system function due to these universal threads.

This is a partial interpretation of a thesis I have written.

Take good care.

Yes, David Waite claims to have solved it. Problem 11.1.7 at the link seems to be the more general of his solutions.
