All articles from APS journals (Phys. Rev., RMP, PRL, etc.) are
available online, if you are subscribed or you have an account at a
subscribed institution (e.g. university library or the like):

Yes, I know. I am not subscribed but still have purchased several
articles online. But this "PRL The First Hundred Years" CD-rom is
compilation of all the more important and significant physics papers
over PRL's first hundred years. Such as Millikan's determination of
electronic charge, Compton's scattering experiment, Weisskopf's "On the
Self-Energy and Electromagnetic Field of an Electron", etc. And plenty
more. If the CD-rom is not too expensive, it is definitely a handy
"tool" for serious physics students to study the original papers
referenced in textbooks.

So does anyone know if this CD-rom is still availible for purchase?
Maybe online access to APS is required to find out?

OK, finally found it. Apparently this CD-rom comes with a book edited
by Henry Stroke called "The Physical Review: The First Hundred Years : A
Selection of Seminal Papers and Commentaries[itex]" /Book[/itex] and Cd-Rom.
Published by AIP Press (I guess I was looking on the wrong website).
Amazon is offering it for $159 new but has a link to used ones for $21.
Not too bad.
