If you're talking about gas mileage...

Fill your car up. Reset the trip odometer. Drive until you need gas again without putting any additional gas to top off the tank. Fill up again, noting how many gallons it takes to fill up. Write down the mileage on the trip odometer. Divide odometer's reading by gallons of gas to get Gas mileage

thanks for your help but I need a calculation to work it out. I am writing phsyics engine for a car game so I have all the engine details and its torque curve. I read that fule consumption has a direct relation with how much horse power the engine is producing.

With these engine details can I calculate its fuel consumption?

Any help would be great

Thanks
